Rich in sea caves, lighthouses, and sandy shores, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a sea kayaker’s dream. Disappear into this pristine collection of islands and shoreline featuring stunning geological formations- caverns, arches, and pillars - uniquely accessible to kayakers. We’ll pack our gear into tandem kayaks and tour and camp around a number of islands. Each day we will paddle between two to eight miles and camp at designated primitive group spots. We will provide experienced leadership, paddling instruction, quality food, paddling equipment, wet suits, tents, cooking gear, and rescue equipment. Devotions will be led by our staff, and each night we will enjoy discussions around God’s word that will provide you a lasting memory of how rich our life in Christ can be.
One of our nation’s premier wilderness areas. This site provides breathtaking views of Superior lakeshores, sea caves, and islands. The scenic beauty of God’s creation with new and old friendships provide opportunities for fun, spiritual encouragement, and lasting memories. Leadership: Our Forest Springs Staff will be teaming up with a guide from Whitecap Kayak
