Each camp can provide you with an opportunity to hit the "pause button" on life. Our mission-minded staff works to provide families of all ages with a safe, positive, no-pressure environment that allows you to focus on reconnecting, creating memories, and growing in God's Word. Summer family camps at Forest Springs are a much-needed retreat for hundreds of families around the country each year.
Brooks Simpson came to faith in Christ in 1988 while wrestling for the University of Iowa and attending Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa. He joined the staff at Grace Community Church in 1998 and serves as Lead Pastor. Brooks’ desire is to see Christ magnified and exalted in the lives of people. He would love for people to see that Christ and His gospel are on every page of the Bible, and to understand the gospel as the power to transform life here and now, not only as a “ticket to heaven.” Houghton College, Trinity Seminary, and Dallas Theological Seminary where he received his doctorate. He loves the local church and is passionate about teaching God's Word exegetically. He is happily married to Betty Ann. Together they are blessed with four grown kids, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter.
