MELTDOWN!!!
An Action-Packed Weekend for Junior High Teens in Grades 6 through 9!
What's Meltdown?
It's action-packed. It's snow-filled. It's fuel for your faith. It's just what you've been looking for.
Meltdown Speaker: Ken Castor
Ken Castor wants to see people connect with Jesus. From the Award-winning Jesus-Centered Bible to resources like Grow Down and the Bible Trivia Devotional, Ken creates resources to help people discover a dynamic faith in God. Ken recently launched the Make a Difference Youth Bible (NLT), a get-off-the-couch-and-do-something-with-your-faith sort of Bible. He is currently a Faculty Lecturer at the University of Northwestern, and he travels the US and Canada equipping NextGen ministry leaders. Ken enjoys life in Minnesota with his brilliantly witty and slightly freezing family.
Price: $172/person (scholarships available)

The wintry environment is perfect for navigating down snow-covered hills on skis or a snowboard. Maybe a tube run down Bullet or Big Bend is more your speed. Off the hill, you can explore the acre after acre of forest via cross-country skis or snowshoes. After a day in the outdoors, you can grab a gourmet hot chocolate and hang out with friends in front of one of our fireplaces.
Meltdown campers will be equipped and challenged through Bible teaching during weekend sessions. Trained, mission-driven counselors will lead cabin groups through devotions and cabin activities throughout the weekend. During free time, campers can take advantage of many fun-filled winter program areas.
Here's what a typical Saturday at Meltdown looks like:

A Note to Parents
Preparation - We aim to provide you with all the information needed to prepare your teen for a great time at camp. If at any time you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Youth Registrar via e-mail or by calling 715-436-7378.
Cabin Arrangements - Forest Springs has cabin clusters created to give male and female campers privacy. To maintain privacy, members of the opposite sex are not allowed in cabin clusters (i.e. male campers are not allowed in female cabin clusters).
Cancellations - They do occur sometimes. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible. Your courtesy may help another camper on a waiting list to be able to attend. However, your registration deposit is not refundable or transferable.
