Homecoming - Staff Alumni Retreat

Been humming a camp song? Do you miss campfire desserts, evening talks with friends, and stars so bright? Well, rest assured, Homecoming will be here soon - September 15-17, 2023. It’s a time for Forest Springs staff and volunteers to reconnect and relive those unforgettable moments. Whether you served at camp for a weekend or a season, we’d love for you to come back and see us. 

You’ll have an opportunity to reminisce about great times at camp, and learn about the new and exciting developments underway at Forest Springs as we look ahead to the future. We believe you’ll come away encouraged and excited for the future of Forest Springs. 

Join us for this weekend as you reunite with old friends, have fun, celebrate the past, and learn more about the future of Forest Springs. We will also be having a reunion and special gathering of our LTD and Trailhead alumni.

The cost of this event will be $50/person for standard cabins and $75/person for Lodge Rooms. This will help cover the cost of food and linens for the weekend.  

Children 5 and under are free, but please note that we will not have programs that are specifically geared toward children.

Details for the weekend are still pending, but here's what we know so far...

- Unlike previous years, there will be a small charge to cover meals and linen.
- Similar to past years, we will not provide children's programs, childcare, etc.
- It is open to all alumni  - which includes all who have served one day or more.

Donations covering the cost of the weekend are welcome. 

Possible Itinerary* 

Friday:
Registration from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Evening meal not provided, but Lodge Cafe will be open)
Welcome session
Lakefront worship with bonfire and marshmallow roast (weather permitting)

Saturday:
Breakfast, followed by the "State of the Camp"
Lunch, followed by free time (High Ropes, Paintball, and selected program options available) 
A BBQ Dinner on the Rec Field  

Sunday:
Continental breakfast
Sunday morning session 
Brunch

Please know that while children are invited to attend Homecoming, we will not be offering children’s programming or nursery services.
