Wintertainment

Forest Springs January 3-5, 2025

What's Wintertainment?

It's downhill excitement. It's fireside hangouts. It's fuel for your faith. It's a weekend you won't forget.

The wintry environment is perfect for navigating down snow-covered hills on skis or a snowboard. Maybe a tube run down Bullet or Big Bend is more your speed. Off the hill, you can explore the acre after acre of forest via cross-country skis or snowshoes. After a day in the outdoors, you can grab a gourmet hot chocolate and hang out with friends in front of one of our fireplaces.

Wintertainment campers will be equipped and challenged through Bible teaching during sessions. Trained, mission-driven counselors will lead cabin groups through devotions and cabin activities throughout their time at camp. During free time, campers can take advantage of many fun-filled winter programs areas.

Wintertainment Speaker: Josiah Lewis

Josiah was born in Florida, but raised in Puyallup, Washington where he spent most of his life. His father was a children’s pastor, which lead Josiah (and his five siblings) to be very present and active within the church at a young age. He married his wife, Stephanie, in 2014. In his spare time, Josiah enjoys playing basketball and video games, spending time with friends and family, and is not ashamed to admit he's a die-hard Bears fan.

Josiah interned at his home church in student ministries for two years and then graduated in 2015 with a degree in Church Leadership and Theology from Champion Centre College, WA. For the past three years, he's been a full-time children’s pastor at a church in Tacoma, WA, before accepting the current student ministries position at Alliance Church.
