Junior High

Looking to enjoy some downtime? Forest Springs has plenty of areas to relax, enjoy a snack or coffee drink, play a game or just catch up with friends. Teen campers will be equipped and challenged through Bible teaching during sessions held twice a day. Forest Springs' Matt Hoffland will lead times of worship. Campers can take advantage of dozens of fun-filled program areas during their free time like paintball or our high-ropes course.

Our trained, mission-driven staff works to ensure each camper's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. As a parent, you can rest assured that your child will be safe, and thriving in our Christian community!

About the Speaker:

Josiah was born in Florida, but raised in Puyallup, Washington where he spent most of his life. His father was a children's pastor, which lead Josiah (and his five siblings) to be very present and active within the church at a young age. He married his wife, Stephanie, in 2014. In his spare time, Josiah enjoys playing basketball and video games, spending time with friends and family, and is not ashamed to admit he's a die-hard Bears fan. Josiah interned at his home church in student ministries for two years and then graduated in 2015 with a degree in Church Leadership and Theology from Champion Centre College, WA. For the past three years, he's been a full-time children's pastor at a church in Tacoma, WA, before accepting the current student ministries position at Alliance Church.

Preparation - We aim to provide you with all the information needed to prepare your teen for a great time at camp. If at any time you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Youth Registrar via e-mail or by calling 715-427-5241.

Cabin Arrangements - Forest Springs has cabin clusters created to give male and female campers privacy. To maintain privacy, members of the opposite sex are not allowed in cabin clusters (i.e. male campers are not allowed in female cabin clusters).

Cancellations - They do occur sometimes. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible. Your courtesy may help another camper on a waiting list to be able to attend. However, your registration deposit is not refundable or transferable.

Cost - The cost of this event is $523. We do have youth camp discounts & scholarships available.

Registration for Junior High is from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, and departure is from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday.
